East Europe booming: Patten at E&Y summit

 #  The action at Monte Carlo has partly now shifted to the Award selection process that started today. The decision making process is rigorous.The 9 member jury is divided into three panels and each of the candidates will meet the different panels. Candidates are brushing up on their homework, presentations and for many of them, it is like back to school, while preparing for an exam. The final decision while being taken on 9th June, will be kept under wraps and announced in a Oscar-type function on Saturday, 10th night.
 
# The E&Y India leadership which has come to Monte Carlo will, in all, host three dinners for participants, during this week. This is possibly unique among the E&Y teams that have assembled here from many parts of the world. This is a time when Indian and some overseas entrepreneurs will get to meet with each other. Already links are being formed with plans to exchange notes and ideas. Apart from these India dinners, there are also networking cocktails every evening where all the participants come together.
