The Election Commission (EC) will probe a complaint against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram for allegedly holding office of profit in Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

This was announced by Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswamy today.

"We have received the complaint only three days back. We will find out the exact position like date of appointment and benefits, if any," Gopalaswamy told reporters here.

He said the Election Commission would take some time to probe the complaint referred to it by President A P J Abdul Kalam.
