Electronic ID cards for AP govt employees

 Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS) has called for an expression of interest for empanelment of suppliers for preparation, printing and issue of the ID cards.

 The government plans to issue different types of cards to the employees that include cards with magnetic code facility, bar code facility, smart cards with magnetic code and barcode facility.

 APTS has fixed December 1 as the last date for receiving the bids.
