The three-day exhibition would showcase the latest in energy and infrastructure products and services and also explore innovative technologies for environmental-friendly manufacturing practices, a CII release stated.
The first edition, in 2005, saw over 50 exhibitors and 3,000 participants and showcased Trichy as a major engineering and energy equipment hub. It generated business worth over Rs 200 crore.
This year's event would showcase boilers products, power plant auxiliaries and accessories, windmill components, heavy fabrication components, renewable energy products, and transmission and distribution equipment, among others.
A two-day conference on 'Power to Power the World' focusing on advanced technologies in power generation is also being organised.
