Admitting there could be hiccups while covering the entire country under Direct Benefits Transfer scheme, Plan panel Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia on Monday exuded confidence that its beneficiaries would have greater satisfaction in the next five-six months.
The issue of lack of banking infrastructure hindering the rollout of the scheme in districts was also raised at a meeting, in which district magistrates of the districts concerned raised concerns over slow progress in opening of new accounts.
