In the context of countries seeking to move towards a globalised free world trade regime, he felt that if an exporter-company wants to push its products at below-cost sales, then it should be allowed to do so.
This, Weiss said, is in the interest of developing a healthy and competitive marketplace. Consumers have a right to get quality products at a reasonable price irrespective of whether it is made locally or procured from abroad, he added. If a company exports a product at a price lower than the price it normally charges on its own home market, it is said to be
