Expert talks, interactive contests set the ball rolling

 Preliminary rounds of the business school quiz and several other contests on marketing, finance, operations and strategy were also held on Friday.

 Friday was also a day for students of participating business schools to get a closer look at the picturesque IIMA campus and many students were seen interacting with each other and various faculty members of the institute.

 Visiting students and faculty from other business schools also had a look at the new IIMa campus that is coming up adjacent to the existing complex.

 Preliminary rounds for Finomenon paper contest for finance functions, Statosphere paper contest for strategy functions, GreyCell paper contest for marketing functions and Opulence paper contests for operations functions were also held simultaneously.

 Amit Sharma and Nikhil Balraman of IIMA, Anuja Chandgotia and Anish Saraf of IIMA, Yachna Kataria from IIMA, Abhishek Joshi and Priya Kejriwal of IIMA, Ajay Nair of IIML and Rajkumar and Chaitanya from ISB took part in the Finomenon.

 In stratosphere paper contest, Yogesh Lundia and Indranil Das of NUS came first, while Aniruddha Deshmukh and Arindam Sandilya of IIMA came second. Archana Jagannathan and Dushyant Saran of IIMC and Jinesh Shah and Rajat Ranjan of FMS ranked third and fourth respectively.

 In the Grey Cell contest, Varun Kapoor and Shweta Markandeya of XIM came first, while in the Opulence paper contest, the winners were Samir Jain and Sharad Sharma of NITIE
