Farmers stress on drip irrigation

 This was stated by as many as 50 farmers of Kutch, Surendranagar, Gandhinagar and other areas of the state who returned after studying the agriculture system in Israel. They were sharing their experience at an one-day seminar held under the auspices of Horticulture Land Development Board.

 State Agriculture and Co-operation minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma, speaking at the seminar, said that it was the need of the hour that farmers of the state came out of traditional method of agriculture and adopted modern farming system based on science and technology.

 Horticulture director B R Shah, director of Land Development Board and chairman of IFFCO provided necessary guidance to the farmers.
