FIIs' net sell Rs 1,559 cr in F&O on Wednesday

The Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of  Rs 1,558.99 crore in the futures & option segment on Wednesday.

According to data released by the NSE, FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1,521.94 crore and sold index options worth Rs 104.43 crore. They were net buyers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 72.50 crore while sold stock options worth Rs 5.12 crore.

As per data available on the Sebi website - FIIs were net sellers of stocks worth Rs 37.80 crore in the cash market on Tuesday. Mutual funds were net buyers of shares worth Rs 35.40 crore on the same day.
