FIIs net sellers in F&O on Friday

The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 1,124.51 crore in the futures & option segment on Friday.

According to data released on the NSE website, FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1,016.98 crore, while they bought index options worth Rs 5.90 crore. They were net sellers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 109.84 crore and they sold stock options worth Rs 3.60 crore.

As per data available on the Sebi website - FIIs were net sellers of stocks worth Rs 1,199.10 crore in the spot market on the Thursday. Domestic mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers of shares worth Rs 67.92 crore on the same day.
