Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is likely to present the regular budget for the 2014-15 fiscal early next month.

"Allocations projected in the Interim Budget 2014-15, are generally not altered," the Finance Ministry said in a communication.

However, cases of schemes and decisions which have the effect of raising expenditure commitments has to be sent to the Budget Division in the Finance Ministry for examination.

"In case the additionality is agreed to by this Ministry, then revised Statements of Budget Estimates (SBEs) would need to be forwarded to the Budget Division," the Ministry said.

"It is clarified that additionality will only be for committed liabilities," the Finance Ministry added.
