Fire broke out at Patotsav event

Fire broke out in the Patotsav function organised at Sandipani Academy campus in Porbandar on Saturday afternoon due to short circuit.
 
However, no casualty has been reported.
 
The vice president of India Bhairosinh Shekhavat, chief minister Narendra Modi and other VVIPs were among the invitees at the function. Even the entire Ambani family was present at the function.
 
Sandapani Academy is headed by Ramesh Oza "� Bhaishree who happens to be the spiritual guru of the Ambanis.
 
"Everybody was busy with the arrangment at the function when we saw that the Non Resident Indian (NRI) tents accommodated on the right side of the temple, were engulfed with fire."
 
However the fire was extinguished in 15 to 20 munites and the situation was brought under control," said Prakash Joshi, media committee incharge of the ceremony.
 
Around 80 tents turned to ashes and most important documents including passports and visas of the visitors got burnt in the fire.
 
No human loss was reported, he added.
