Seeking to enhance bilateral trade and cooperation, Finance Minister P Chidambaram will hold discussions with Qatar's Minister of Economy and Finance Yousuf Hussain Kamal and interact with business leaders at Doha on Sunday.
"Finance minister is visiting Qatar in the framework of the excellent relations and regular exchange of high level visits between India and Qatar. The visit is aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries to mutual benefit," said an Indian embassy release.
During his stay at Doha, Chidambaram is also scheduled to meet chief executive officers of Qatar Investment Authority and Qatari Business Association.

Chidambaram, who is on a three-nation tour to seek foreign investments, had earlier visited London and Paris. He will leave Qatar for New Delhi on Sunday.
In London, the minister had met his UK counterpart Chancellor of Exchequer George Osborne, business leaders and participated in the Sixth Ministerial India-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue.
Chidambaram had emphasised that India offers "unlimited" opportunities for investment in infrastructure sector as the country needs more roads, airports and seaports.
"What I am telling the investors here and the government here is that there is a huge opportunity in India, especially in infrastructure," he had said.
In his ministerial meeting in London, several issues concerning macro-economy, trade and investment, infrastructure financing, financial services and regulations and development of insurance and pension sectors came up for discussion.
