Gail Rules Out Sale Up Up Plant

The development of intermediate and minor ports in 31 locations may give a fillip to India's export competitiveness and raise cargo holding capacity to 50 million tonnes by 2002, a study done by Associated Chambers of Commerce states.

The report added that exports could also be increased if the through port cost of containerisation was brought on par with world norms.
