Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy today said all projects related to the Commonwealth Games were going on the right track and that they will be completed by the end of this month.
Reddy, who is the chairman of the Group of Ministers that is overseeing the preparations for the Games, said he was confident about completing the works by this month.
"I am the chairman of the GoM on Commonwealth Games. I am saying with confidence that all projects related to the Games will be completed by June," he told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.
Delhi will host the Games in October this year and preparations are on full swing for the sporting extravaganza.
The Organising Committee has faced criticism from different quarters for the tardy preparations of 2010 Games, but the government has been maintaining that it will be able to complete all the projects in time.
A number of existing stadia are being are refurbished and infrastructure development projects being undertaken.
