Gas to fuel Morbi's ceramic tile units in a year

 The ailing industry, once known world-wide for the quality ceramic tiles it produced, will get gas soon as the state energy and petrochemicals department has decided to expedite the work on laying pipeline, as part of the proposed state-wide gas grid, up to Morbi.

 The government hopes that its enterprise, Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL), which is responsible for the gas grid project, will be able to extend the pipeline up to Morbi within a year.
