The non-residential Gujaratis (NRG) wing of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Leicestershire Asian Business Association (LABA). The MoU will facilitate bilateral business relationships between both the ogranisations, GCCI said in a release.
Leicester-based LABA represents 3,000 members having varied business interests in England and Europe. GCCI will soon set up an office in Leicester with a view to establishing better connectivity among the business community.
Earlier this year, GCCI, in association with the Gujarat Businessmen Association— Canada, had set up an office in Toronto.
Meanwhile, the NRG Committee of GCCI is organising a one-day conference — Building Bridges between Gujarat and its diaspora — in Ahmedabad on July 25.
