According to Anandi Iyer, advisor International Technology Co-operation Network, the German delegation is led by the International Technology Co-operation Network sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour, Government of Germany. An Indo German Business Forum meeting will be held on the April 23 in Bangalore. |
Some of the German companies taking part at the Bangalore Bio 2005 are BioBase, Institut für Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Biology, 3A strategy, MWG, Deutsche Messe AG and the Fraunhofer Institute of Clinical Immunology and Cell Therapy. |
"The visiting companies and institutes are looking for partners in bioinformatics, chemoinformatics, agriculture & pharma biotech, drug discovery, preclinical and clinical development, genomic products and services," said Anandi Iyer. |
Through the Indo German Chamber of Commerce we plan to organise various B2B meetings to enable and speed up partner search and cooperation, she added. |
Bangalore Bio in its fifth edition expects participation by over 150 exhibitors, 600 delegates from 25 countries from Asia, Europe, Australia, Scandinavia and USA and 25,000 trade visitors. |
The scientific meet is expected to see 60 national and international speakers. |
