Goa's IHRM ties up with Mumbai institute

Goa-based Institute of Hotel and Restaurant Management (IHRM) has tied-up with the Mumbai-based Kokane's Kohinoor College of Hotel and Tourism Management Studies to bridge the gap in the hospitality industry.
 
Affiliated to the YC Maharashtra Open University, the Kokane's Kohinoor College, has a total of 30 branches offering 20 different courses and churning out 15,000 students every year.
 
M Kokane, chairman, Kohinoor Group said that there is a large requirement for trained professionals in the hotel and tourism industry. "In Goa there are about 20 five star resorts and I am sure we can serve their requirement adequately," he added.
 
IHRM chairman, Richard Pinto said that apart from the course content and infrastructure, the Kohinoor brand image will also go a long way in helping the students at IHRM.
 
The course fees average about Rs 55,000 per year.
