A high-powered group of ministers is expected to meet on Wednesday to take stock of the government’s ongoing sale of excess wheat in the domestic market.
According to a senior government official, apart from taking stock of the sale process, the ministers might also consider some of the demand of the flour millers. One of the key demand of the millers is that government should bear the transportation cost of the wheat sold.
“The GoM is expected to consider all these points,” a senior official said.
