Good groundnut harvest revives oil mills in Jamnagar

 Around 100 oil mills in the district were without any significant work following two successive years of poor monsoon and the resultant groundnut crop failure.

 Many oil mills were on the brink of collapse for the last two years, but the scene has changed drastically now.

 Even mills in the small centers such as Balva and Jamjodhpur are doing very good business as the marketing yards of the Saurashtra region are recording a steady and ample supply of groundnut this year, industry sources said.

 Director of Saurashtra Oil Mills Association Dhirajlal Karia said,
