A day after the BJP and JD(S) submitted their letters of support to Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Saturday, seeking an opportunity to form the government in the state, the governor was yet to decide on it. |
"I have not decided on the issue yet. I held the first meeting with the three advisors appointed by the Centre on Saturday. Political matters did not come up for discussion in the meeting," Thakur told reporters at Raj Bhavan. |
Declining to take questions from the media on the letters given by the BJP and JD(S), Thakur said, "I will inform you (media) as soon as I decide on them (letters given by the BJP and JD-S). I am yet to discuss the matter even with the new state advocate-general (B V Acharya) who took charge earlier in the day." |
