Govt Clears 46 Fdi Proposals Worth Rs 214 Crore

The government today cleared 46 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals envisaging inflows worth Rs 214 crore. The proposals include Rs 73.76 crore of Chubb Global Financial Services for acquiring 26 per cent in HDFC Chubb General Insurance.

The proposals were cleared by the commerce and industry minister Murasoli Maran after the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approved them, according to an official statement.
