Cable Act may be amended to regulate broadcasters
The Union Cabinet today resolved to go ahead with the staggered rollout of the conditional access system (CAS) from September 1 even as it decided to hold further consultations on legislative measures like promulgation of an Ordinance to regulate broadcasters.
