With the World Bank’s Doing Business 2019 report set to be released on Wednesday, New Delhi hopes the country will breach the 80s in the ranks table.

The government is confident of an improvement in the current rank of 100, owing to the implementation of its flagship policies — the goods and services tax (GST) and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
