Govt keeps options open on CAS

The government said it was monitoring the rollout of the conditional access system in south Delhi carefully and had kept "all its options open" in case consumer interest was hurt in the process.
Warning the cable network industry against indulging in corporate rivalry at the cost of the consumers, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said in the Rajya Sabha "we have all options before us if consumer interest is jettisoned".
