Govt may dilute captive power norms

The government is planning to bring in an amendment to dilute captive power generation norms to encourage captive power production in the country.

In another development, Goa may also get an ultra-mega coastal project of 4,000 MW based on imported coal, power minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said today.
