Featuring in the lists of rich people has become a habit for the Manchester-born-and-bred Reuben Singh, though he is just 25 years old.
The amritdhari Sikh first got noticed in 1998 (he was all of 21 then) when his name entered the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest millionaire. Now, he is the youngest entrant in the galaxy of 40 richest people under the age of 40, outside the US, put out last week by Fortune. And his wealth has been estimated at $151 million by the magazine.
Just who is this Reuben Singh? Well, he is the chairman of the RS Group which comprises 11 companies and has business interests ranging from property, retail, currency trading, wireless Internet services and construction.
His flagship company is AllDayPA, a service he set up in 1999, which allows people to have their own virtual personal office with telephone answering and call management. He recently expanded the service through a tie-up with mobile phone network T-Mobile.
