Gujarat Cong takes over Modi

With Assembly elections in Gujarat scheduled early next year, the Congress has decided to step up the heat directly on Chief Minister and BJP’s poster boy of development Narendra Modi. State Congress leaders has decided to meet President Pratibha Patil to hand over documentary proof of alleged corruption to the tune of Rs 1 lakh crore during Modi’s tenure. “The Niira Radia culture in Gujarat started after Narendra Modi became chief minister. The total corruption in his regime is more than Rs 1 lakh crore,” Gujarat PCC chief Arjunbhai Modvadia and state CLP leader Shaktisinh Gohil told reporters . The Congress wants to focus on Modi’s financial mismanagement.
