Haryana Budget fails to keep BJP's poll promises

Komal Amit Gera Chandigarh
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana failed to announce the promised unemployment doles and the pay increase in the state Budget. The BJP manifesto had promised that an allowance of Rs 6,000 a month for an unemployed 12th pass and Rs 9,000 a month for a graduate would be provided by the state government.

The issues pertaining to farmers were also not touched. The Opposition parties termed it as a failure of the BJP government as the Budget did not have any good announcement for the common man.
