Haryana to come up with new industrial policy

The Haryana government soon plans to come out with a comprehensive investment-cum-industrial policy for which the consultative process with the stakeholders had already been completed.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda maintained the state government has taken the requisite initiatives to provide comfort to the IT industry through creation of “plug in and play” and “walk to work” kind of office environment.

Major IT companies like Agilent, Convergys, IBM Daksh, Educomp, Bharti and Genpact are operating from Gurgaon. During the year 2009-10, Haryana had software exports of Rs 23,000 crore.

Meanwhile IT company HCL today unveiled their first technology hub in Haryana at Manesar in Gurgaon.

 

HSIIDC had allotted 10 acres land to HCL Technologies for setting up the Technology Hub under the Campus Development Scheme in the year 2006.
