Karnataka High Court adjourned to tomorrow further hearing of a petition filed by Social Welfare Minister D Sudhakar seeking quashing of chargesheet filed by CBI against him in connection with cheating of a bank to the tune of Rs seven crore.

When the petition came up today, Justice Subhash B Adi after hearing senior counsel for CBI, state advocate general Ashok Harnahally, who concluded his arguments, adjourned the hearing.

Sudhakar moved the High Court praying for quashing chargesheet filed by CBI against him on August 13. The court yesterday granted an interim stay for a week on proceedings initiated against Sudhakar by CBI before a special court.
