A city court today posted the multi-crore Satyam Computer fraud case to February 17 for hearing on framing charges against the prime accused B Ramalinga Raju and nine others.

All the nine accused, except Satyam founder B R Raju who is undergoing treatment for his hepatic ailment at NIMS's hospital here, were produced before the XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court after expiry of their judicial custody today.

The judge wanted to question all the Satyam accused on the allegations and charges mentioned in the supplementary charge sheets after which the framing of charges against Raju and others will be taken up by the court, CBI's deputy legal advisor B Ravindranath told PTI.

"The judge wanted to question all the accused, but as Raju was not produced before the court today, the judge posted the matter for February 17," Ravindranath said, adding that the prosecution will submit documents on the same date on a separate charge sheet filed by CBI over filing of 'false' income tax returns by Raju and others.

Meanwhile, the designated CBI court also extended the judicial remand of all the 10 accused till February 17.

Except Raju, other Satyam scam accused are lodged at Chanchalguda jail while another accused B Suryanarana Raju is on anticipatory bail.
