Around a thousand heart surgeons are converging on the city from across the country to attend the 49th annual conference of the Indian Association for Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons. The four-day conference, which will begin here tomorrow.
Apart from deliberations on various developments in their field, the surgeons will have an opportunity to interact through a teleconference with President APJ Abdul Kalam from New Delhi.
Kalam will address them on ghe genetic disorders leading to heart attack, said a release here.
