Housing Board plans six projects

The Orissa State Housing Board (OSHB) plans to implement six housing projects in locations like Rourkela, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Angul.

These include plotted development scheme at Chhend (phase-III) in Rourkela, multi-storied apartment for lower income bracket in Cuttack, multi-storied apartment at Dharmavihar and multi-storied apartment with commercial complex in public-private-partnership (PPP) mode at Ranasinghpur in Bhubaneswar. Besides, a project at Suango (phase-II) in Bhubaneswar and another one at Angul in PPP mode are also in the pipeline.

The plotted development scheme at Chhend (phase-III) in Rourkela will come up over 4.417 acres of land and will have 79 dwelling units for low, medium and high income group. The multi-storied apartment for lower income bracket in Cuttack is proposed to come up over 11.383 acres at Bidyadharpur. It will have 1008 dwelling units for economically weaker section of the population.

 

While the multi-storied apartment at Dharmavihar in Bhubaneswar will come up over 1.72 acres of land and the proposed construction of multi-storied apartment with commercial complex in public-private-partnership (PPP) mode at Ranasinghpur will be set up on 4.65 acres.

The second phase of Suango project will come up over 10 acres and the project at Angul requires 6.5 acres.
