HSBC hosts charity meet

Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd (HSBC) is hosting a six-day 'Helping hands mela' to facilitate charitable institutions and persons to raise funds for diverse causes, mostly related to education for the underprivileged and handicapped children and the environment.

The mela was inaugurated at the HSBC branch on C G Road in Ahmedabad on Monday. The participating charities in Ahmedabad include Apang Manav Mandal, Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh, the Blind People's Association (India), and the World Wide Fund for Nature, India.
