HuJI militant arrested from J-K district

A suspected Pakistan-trained militant of Harkat-ul-Jehad-e-Islami (HuJI) was arrested from Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir today, a police spokesman said.

On a specific information, a joint party of police and 30 Rashtriya Rifles arrested Abdul Razaq Ganie alias Abu Vakas from near Guloora-Kultoora in Handwara area.

An AK 47 rifle, its three magazines with 87 rounds and two hand grenades were recovered from his hideout. The ultra is a resident of Chanki village in Sopore township, the spokesman said.
