<b>Hyd Blast</b>: Suspect nabbed from Jalna

Soyab Jagirdar, a resident of Jalna in Maharashtra and suspected to procured RDX for making bombs used in Hyderabad's Mecca Masjid blast, has been arrested by the Maharashtra police.

Jagirdar was arrested from his residence at Jalna yesterday and handed over to a special investigation team from Andhra Pradesh, an officer of the Special Investigation Cell told PTI today.

The AP police team had gone to Jalna on a specific tip off about the suspect who allegedly  helped to procure RDX, the officer added.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made in the city for the peaceful Friday prayers.

Terror struck on May 18 in Hyderabad during Friday prayers at the historic Mecca mosque when a powerful bomb ripped through a gathering of thousands leaving 14 people dead including some killed in police firing during subsequent protests.
