I-T raid on stock brokers in Ahmedabad

Tax officials in Gujarat have carried out raids on stock brokerages in the business centres of Ahmedabad and Rajkot, the Ahmedabad Income Tax department said on Thursday.

The Income Tax department, when contacted by telephone, declined to comment further, and it was not clear what they were looking for.
