In its bid to attract the growing number of air travellers in the country, Indian Airlines today announced the launch of its bumper super saver scheme providing 16 flight coupons to anywhere on the domestic sector for Rs 65,000.

The scheme, which does not require advance purchase or any other booking condition, would be launched tomorrow, and the tickets would be valid for one year from the date of issue.

Manjira Khurana, director (public relations) of IA, said: "The passenger can take these coupons and go straight to the airport and board a flight, provided seats are available."

The coupons, printed in limited numbers, would be sold from IA offices all over the country.

The coupons can be used for any domestic destination, barring travel on four sectors where two coupons would be required for a single flight. These sectors are Delhi to Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Coimbatore.
