Taking its entrepreneurship training further, the Ahmedabad-based International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (ICECD) has begun an entrepreneurship training program for Small Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) of Government of Nigeria.

The centre is offering a 10 days 'Orientation Training for Entrepreneurship Development in Nigeria' to a team of 22 Nigerian delegates from SMEDAN. As part of the program, ICECD will offer training in aspects of appropriate technology, market, small and micro entrepreneurs, application of micro credit for mainstreaming and other areas of entrepreneurship development.

"ICECD's entrepreneurship development model has fetched excellent results in linking women and youth in all strata of the society to MSME. This model can be directly applicable in Nigeria since their socio-economic system is almost the same as ours," said Hina Shah, founder and director at ICECD.
