"AHA has done pioneering work and has developed norms for accreditation of hospitals in India for National Accreditation Board for all hospitals in India. ICRI Health has planned to conduct a number of courses in collaboration with AHA," ICRI Board of Directors Chairman S R Dugal told reporters here.
The courses will be conducted by the renowned experts and faculty from AHA, and at the same time faculty from Singapore-based institutes will be teaching in India, he added.
The institute seeks to introduce well defined processes in hospital administration and bridge the gap by offering well trained professionals for the medical tourism and hospital operations management industry in the country, Dugal said.
ICRI currently operates from four campuses in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad and Bangalore and it has a capacity to train 4,000 students at a time.
