IDBI Bill scrapes through in Lok Sabha

 The Bill was about to fall through in the House when CPM MP Basudev Acharya moved an amendment and sought a division.

 Deputy Lok Sabha Speaker PM Sayeed, who was in the chair, however, brokered a truce between the Opposition and the government and requested Acharya to withdraw the amendment.
