Import Of 5 Million Tonnes Crude From Iraq Likely

The government wants to import 5 million tonnes of crude in exchange of wheat from Iraq this year as against 1.5 million tonnes last year. Petroleum minister Ram Naik, who has returned from a two-day visit to Iraq, hoped that the oil-for-food programme would resume as soon as the sanctions
