India advisory panel for City of London Video

The City of London on Wednesday, February 21, announced the names of six Indian business leaders as its advisory council for India.

The council, chaired by Alan Rosling, executive director, Tata Sons, will include Mukesh Ambani, chairman, Reliance Industries, K V Kamath, CEO, ICICI Bank, Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai, CEO, HSBC, Ms. Zia Mody, senior partner, AZB & Partners, Naseer Munjee, chairman, Development Credit Bank and Deepak Parekh, chairman, HDFC.

Announcing the setting up of the council, Michael Snyder, City of London's Policy chairman, said: "I am delighted that business leaders with such wealth of experience have agreed to be on the City's advisory council. The City of London's job is to support the UK-based financial services industry, and having access to expert advice on the rapidly changing face of India's economy is an essential part of this."
