India at 89/3, Hoggard shines

England was all out for 400 in their first innings on the second day of the third and final cricket test against India, being played in Mumbai.

A Strauss was out for 128 (240), while Owais Shah out at 88(163), was just 12 runs short of becoming the 17th centurion on debut for England and second in this series. Captain Andrew Flintoff 50(85) pushed the score to 400.

S Sreeshanth took 4 wickets, Harbhajan Singh took 3 wickets, while Munaf Patel took 2 wickets.

Indian openers, W Jaffer 11 (39) & V Sehwag 6 (15) were out at the very early stages of the game. Both the openers were out by Hoggard. Sachin Tendulkar scored only a single run in 21 balls, out by Anderson.

Captain Rahul Dravid currently stands at 37 for 102 balls and Yuvraj Singh at 32 for 47 balls. India at 89 after losing 3 major wickets.
