Indo-Kuwait pact on labour & employment

To facilitate easier migration of Indian workers to Kuwait, the Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing a memorandum of understanding on labour employment and manpower development between the two countries. The pact allows for protection and welfare of Indian workers not covered under Kuwait's labour law.

The MoU would provide for constitution of a joint working group, I&B Minister, P R Dasmunshi said after a Cabinet meeting.
