| Industrial production in October increased 11.8% when compared with an increase of 4.5% in October 2006, thanks to growth in the manufacturing sector. The growth rate of industrial production, however, slowed down marginally to 9.7% in the April-October period of the current fiscal from 10.1% in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
