Inflation dops to 4.61%

Inflation based on the wholesale price index (WPI) declined marginally to 4.61% for the week ended July 29 from 4.67% in the previous week mainly due to cheaper food items, including milk.

The inflation stood at 4.16% during the corresponding week last year.
