Headline inflation could moderate to six-seven per cent by March if the declining trend continued, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee said here today. Though overall inflation remained high in the manufacturing sector, fuel and certain commodities, food inflation had fallen, he added. While food inflation fell sharply to a four-year low of 4.4 per cent in the week-ended December 3, from 6.6 per cent in the previous week, headline inflation fell to 9.1 per cent in November from 9.7 per cent in the previous month.
